Dramatic Coastal Attraction

A cross between Fingal's Cave and the Giant's Causeway but in miniature. Once visited by Alister Crowley looking for the devil. An interesting piece of coastal scenery.

It's a hole in the cliffs, that's it! The walk up to it is worth it though, but you might be a bit disappointed about what all the fuss is about

Worth visiting if you are in the area. Stunning rocky coastline, which I imagine is even more impressive during stormy weather... The view down into the collapsed cave is awesome. Really close to Cascais town, so definitely check it out if you're nearby.

This is an amazing place if you want to see some stunning views of cliffs eaten away by the ocean. Walk from Cascais centre.

What a great little spot this is. Sadly there was no access to it today but I imagine in the summer it's open for visitors via the retractable stair assembly. Great hotel and pool above which is very highly recommended

This is a lovely way to experience the crashing waves as they come in through the "mouth". Be sure to wear comfy shoes and bring your camera. Great photo ops.

Who knew that Portugal's Atlantic coast could be so rough? The water slams the coast here and has created several "holes" that trap the frothy water. A beautiful work of nature.
