We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautifully situated by the ocean. The Seixas Palace is a characteristic 20th century building in an eclectic style. It was built on the remains of the 17th century Santa Catarina Fort. Symbol of the city of Cascais. Lovely.

This palace has all the feel of a fairytale castle, set on the edge of a beautiful garden - which you can walk around escorted by families of ducks, chickens and cockerels! although you can't go inside, the outside is worthy of photographs especially from the sea-side where the sea flows in under the bridge at high tide creating a moat around the base of the castle. When the tide is out you can walk up to the base of the castle via a set of steps down from the road. Spend some time in the garden - take a picnic - there are a wide variety of flowers and plants, gum trees and pink peppercorn trees, as well as a children's play area - a great place for exploration and relaxing. There is also a cafe on site in the park area.

Nice little castle in Cascais better than I expected in a small town but I really enjoyed my time here.

One of the biggest buildings in central Cascais, it actually towers over the old town. You can't miss it. It completes a very attractive skyline and perspective on the old town and I loved it.

With tide water you can swim in front of the castle. Grate park behind it. It is really worth to stop and have a look at it.

We loved walking aroiund Palacio Seixas. The building is absolutely stunning and when the tide is high their are people swimming. There is a beautiful park with incredible wild life which is a lot of fun to see. There are also places to stop and get a bite to eat and drink.

An extraordinary complex, this sits right by the bridge where 'inner-city' Cascais meets its outskirts and carries on out towards the coast. Once you've passed the fort, this is the first ideal place to stop on a bike ride or walk for some great photos.

Nice palace right on the Cascais seafront, though in the evenings it is poorly lit and difficult to view.

It's a beautiful site. We do not visit it, because it belongs to the Navy. It's a mess for their officers
