Ponte Pedro e Ines is a modern pedestrian bridge that provides a fabulous view of the old city. If you enjoy walking it's definitely a good activity while in Coimbra

It can be a long walk. But you will enjoy the views. Especially during the sunset. It can be gorgeous. This is my favourite place in Coimbra.

Not a 'destination' as such but a way to get a unique perspective on the city. If you walk then you've nothing to lose; if you're short of time you could miss it.

This was my favourite area of Coimbra. There is a great park either side of the bridge and the bridge itself is beautiful. A really fascinating architectural design with a kink in the middle.
