This marina seems to be the epicenter of Horta. A great place to get a quick bite to eat (Peter's Pub seems to operate all of the outdoor drinking spots) the people watching is also great here.

It is very nice to see how many crews left a paint as a "footprint" of their transit in thsi strategic Harbour crossing the Ocean. You can spend hours seeine thousand of paintings!

Nice place, a marina with lots of beautiful boats and yachts and marine activities such as whale watching and speedboats Prices are relatively cheap for ferry cruises

Romantic place, a must in Horta. Really amazing walking imagining what is been in tha past, how many boat and have been here. Better in morning with a sunny day.

Wall with a superstitious meaning... sailors passing through the island should leave a painting on the was if they don't want to encounter bad luck on the rest of their trip

This is a one off, almost a superstition of sailors to paint these pictures. some are quite old and the latest information was there will need to more space made for the future. Very interesting to see all the original ports of call and destinations...More
