Great beach and a fabulous scene, but there are easier beaches to access. Staying in Salema, we decided to make the short drive to check it out...as it had received great reviews. The stairs down are tough and going up is tougher and somewhat dangerous....More

Many stairs as with most beaches in the Algarve. Once you get to the beach you will enjoy soft white sand and clear warm water. Many higher waves than at other beaches from our experience and lots brought body boards. The far side is used...More

Clear water. Sandy beach with no stones or seaweed. In a beautiful cove. Some waves. Nudist area to the north. Very steep steps down from the car park. Has a cafe.

This is a very nice beach which you can access to after walking down steep stairs - the water is emerald green , the place is not too busy even in the middle of July! Located between Cabo Sao Vicente and Sagres.

Only 3km walk from the towns centre, this beach is amazing and worth making the effort to check out. Nice little waves in Summer and the potential for good surf in winter. Caves to explore and a beach bar.. Don't let the stairs put you...More

Alot of steps but we'll worth the effort, stunning, car park beside the steps. Visit terra restaurant across the road while you're there for the perfect day out
