Highest point in the Algarve, and a nice windy road to the top through Monchique. Lots of eating opportunities on the road up. BUT, you are really up there for the view, and regrettably in summer, though it is cloudless, there is often a thick...More

When the weather is clear, you get a spectacular view from here. It's the highest in Algarve, but if changes are you've seen more dramatic mountains elsewhere in the world. Anyway, it's worth the car trip - if for no other reason then to have...More

6.5km, some parts very steep. Peaceful and good views. Depending on where you've been and what you've done will decide whether it is worth the extra effort iof walking rather than just lookyloo. Restaurant Rampa Piri chicken lovely cheap eat on way down.

We enjoyed it. Coffee was very nice and extremely cheap. It is amazing to see Algarve from the top of the mountain. It was not as clear but worth a visit

Amazing to be able to see virtually the whole of the Algarve from one site. Easy drive up and lots of parking plus cafe and shop for those so inclined.

Its a mountain with a great view, nothing more or less. Not game changing but worth a trip if you are in the area. Much cooler than the coast. Mt Piccota better for a walk.
