I wouldn't say it was worth paying for.The view from the top was pretty cool but as we weren't able to read portugese and not really into the art forms it wasn't so exciting for us.

We were amazed by the incredible preservation of this fort. It's easy to walk to and offers amazing views.

Arrived at 10 am and waited. No one showed so we went to the slave museum and then went back at 10:20. Despite the door being open the man in the straw hat was busy unlocking the doors and took his time without prologue. Anyway...More

€2 entrance fee and many of the exhibits only in local language so I'm none the wiser but it is a nice wee place and we enjoyed the views out over the estuary and beyond.
