This is a beautiful sandy beach which goes on and on. The water is cold most of the time, but swimable once you are in! If you like long walks along gorgeous beaches with minimal tourists, this is for you. A few places along the...More

7 km gently shelving golden sands. Blue/green sea. Little shelter on beach so beware. Great for an evening walk.

Stretching from Lagos pretty much to Portimao, the Meia Praia is a gorgeous long crescent shaped stretch of golden sand. The dunes behind host a number of good beach bars and restaurants. Good for a walk.. a long wall along the shore

It was a bit disapointing and really needs a revamp. The changing rooms are a bit shabby. The bar area was fine but the whole appearance of the Huts needs to be ubgraded

Without a doubt one of the finest beaches in the world. I believe I walked eight km on it the afternoon I visited, from the family end to the nude optional end and back. Also, the food and drinks are very inexpensive, too. Definitely a...More
