Walking alongside the Marina the old town blends into the new, it a pity as at one time it would all have been old town. Its a nice walk but as parts of it go on it is in place like any other town with...More

Lovely little place for a wander especially at night. The area is all lit up and I felt safe walking here every night we were in Faro.

You can sit and watch the world go by or go to the nearby Marina and watch the sunset. Lots of little Restaurants and bars to visit and shops open until late on Fridays. Sometimes musicians on the corners to add to the ambiance.

A lovely cobble stoned area where you can eat at a number of restaurants and shop a bit as well. The evenings are charming and have great atmosphere. The sea breeze makes the place beautiful.

There are some very nice shops and restaurants in this area. The walkways are done in small mosaic-like cobblestones in traditional designs. Great atmosphere in the evenings. Some very pricey shops mixed with great bargains.

This seems to be the main street running along the marina front, and all the little side streets run off of it. It has lovely architecture and historic buildings along it

A lovely place to wonder and look at the various shops and cafe's around here. But I would wear flat shoes as it is cobbled.

It is a very pleasant street to mooch along, but nothing particularly special, You'll 'do' all of Faro's centre in an hour anyway and it's all nice.
