Tiny island strip of sand, more like a huge sand dune, great for sunbathing, swimming (inland side) and birdlife. You need a boat to get there.

A few birds, an easy walk, and beautiful scenery. Perfect if you want to be alone in the beach. Sunset was gorgeous. Waves and shells and sand was exactly what I needed for a quick relaxing get away. Take the 10 Euro Return ferry instead...More

Wonderful. Simply amazing this place. Good for those who don't want to be in a crowded area. With a restaurant in the beach you can be here all day.

I love love love this place. It is peaceful, quiet and picturesque. I recommend you get ready to visit this place in the morning and pack some water& food with you. Walk along this island, and sunbath whenever you are tired.

Visited this beautiful place many times. For a real island feel with amazing tranquility, and such a short distance from mainland Algarve

Nice boat with a friendly staff and a great beach! Just nature, sun and sea. Stayed for 5 hours. Very remote.

Take a trip out to these three islands off the coast from Faro and see the local wildlife. Unfortunately, the local authorities need to do something about the rubbish which drifts ashore on the tides.
