A Vilamoura must do!
Review of: Visit to the Winery and Excellence Gold Wine Tasting - Algarve Treasures
We really enjoyed our first ever visit to Quinta da Tor. Filipa really made us feel welcome. Her knowledge of the vineyard and wines was fantastic. She made it such an enjoyable tour. The wines we tasted were so nice. The variety they produce here is brilliant and suits everybody's tastes. Would highly recommend visiting if in Vilamoura.…

Superb Salt!
Review of: Salt Pans Guided Tour - Algarve Treasures
Algarve Treasures was very helpful setting this up at last minute for us. It was an excellent and very interesting tour of the salt pans with a lovely, knowledgeable guide! My 8yr and 10yr old learnt so much and we were all fascinated by the process. Tour was finished beautifully with a flock of flamingos flying overhead! Highly recommended (we will come back when it's warmer to try out the dead sea swim experience!).…

Review of: Salt Pans Guided Tour - Algarve Treasures
The fantastic/knowledgable hostess welcomed us into her family space and informed us of how traditional salt pan harvesting is painstakingly nurtured! We sampled the tastes of various stages of the salt and experiments were demonstrated to show how variations in purity differ between their product and manufactured products. Floating in the Dead Sea lake was fab and it’s ‘qualities’ improved my daughter’s excema...we are going back for another float before the holiday ends!!! Highly recommended tour!…
