Beautiful beach

The beach was very quiet in November apart from dedicated sun worshippers and surfers. It was good to sit in one of the bars and watch the sunset.

There's a couple of cafes with gorgeous views of the sea. You can park your car right near the beach.

Brilliant for anyone, lots of sea life to see as tide retreats and well supported by life guards, and a very enjoyable restaurant. I left my dive goggles and returned 3 weeks later and the guard had kept them safe for me and also remembered me too. I think it was because I was in the water so much!

Absolutely lovely beach! Very relaxing, lovely to walk along. Water was still warm enough in November to go into the sea!

The Algarve does have a lot of really nice beaches. This beach is great for a long walk by the waters edge and soft sand. The water is clean and clear but I wouldn't say it is warm! There are a couple of nice café/bars to appreciate the scenic views(rock formations / golden sand / rollers and most importantly the... More

The beach between Galé and Armação de Pêra is about 5 km long. A nice sandy beach, with some nice restaurants. Also the natural preserved area behind the beach is worth a visit.

Ideal for small kids and families , very safe and immaculate, good eating place and bar, very picturesque, with rock formation. Great for safe sqimming

One of our favourite Algarve beaches. Gets very busy in the summer and parking can be difficult unless you get there early. I usually visit either very early morning when the beach is empty to photograph the sunrise or at breakfast time for a coffee in one of the beach bars

Have started visiting Portugal since having our baby due to short travel time and climate and im always amazed with how beautiful it is. This beach is stunning, powder soft sand, very clean surroundings, clear waters and brilliant weather......whats not to like? It has restaurants close by, plenty of sunbeds and most importantly the Kids love it.

Lovely place. Used by locals. Lovely beach and clean warm sea. Best visited late afternoon as can be very hot during mid day. Some local bars and eateries and continues to Salgados - this is a really lovely walk and takes you close to nature areas just behind the beach. You do need a car to get here but I... More
