    Amazing place

    Amazing ruins, but officially closed

    Interesting, if with local guide

    Large Roman Villa

    The partially excavated remains of a Roman Villa just 10 km to the south west of Beja are well worth a visit. The Villa had over 40 rooms. The hypocaust and mosaics are well preserved. Check at the Tourist Information Office to check opening hours.

    Easy to walk to from the Pousada

    It's an easy walk from the Pousada de Sao Francisco. Good place to see views of the city & country side.

    Currently closed

    From photos and printed matter dotted about other sites in Beja, one gets the idea that this site might, indeed, be a very good place to visit. Currently they are CLOSED.

    a great place in the countryside, a nice walk

    ruins, rocks and in a pretty place. Not too much time and easy to find
