Such a beautiful park, Such a shame that the staff/park rangers are very unfriendly and not welcoming, Including the Park’s “warden”.

Bon Echo Provincial Park is one thing for sure: SPECTACULAR. You absolutely do not want to miss out on going to this gorgeous, extremely well-maintained Provincial Park. After camping for one week, we did discover some things that made it pure Heaven… but not properly...More

I booked a back country camping site for the night of May 28th, 2018. The Abes and Essens loop is only approximately 17km, so I'd have quite a bit of time to chill out at the site on the 28th and just relax. The trails...More

This has to be the most beautiful park I have visited. The views are spectacular, hiking is great and numerous camping sites available.

Bon Echo is a beautiful provincial park. The experience of visiting there is ruined by the swarming mosquitoes. It is not an enjoyable experience and is quite dangerous to have children and adults bit by so many mosquitoes. They need to implement a spray program....More

A great spot for hiking and canoeing. Very reasonable canoe rental rates. Definitely do the hike to the top of the cliffs.

This campground is quite huge. Its highlight is the petroglyphs on the rocks close to the lake. We hired a canoe and off we went. However, we didn’t know where to look and how the petroglyphs looked like. We met many tourists and no one...More

Bon Echo is absolutely beautiful, no question. The trails are lengthy and fun to hike, the various swimming areas are wonderful (I love the big beach where you can walk very far from the shore yet still be able to stand), and the air just...More
