Nice beer garden, friendly staff and good choice of beer. Didn't try the food but it looked good. Visited as we were staying at the local caravan site.

New chef, great menu with plenty of choice. Good atmosphere, we both chose the slow cooked brisket, spicy fries, corn on the cob, coleslaw n salad neither were disappointed, food was flavoursome. Price was good at £14.95 will be coming here again. Nice cosy fire.

Pub has just recently been taken over by new owners. It feels as though a breath of fresh air has been given to it. Let's hope it goes from strength to strength

Apparently I am invisible to the staff. Stood patiently awaiting service at bar whilst two members of staff continually served everyone around me, completely ignored me. My beer was over priced and served in a rubbish cheap glass!

This pub is walking distance from our house and over the last 15 years has been bad to say the least. They now insist on walking down to cellar to drop a pint of flat beer and this is normal not a one off.It is...More
