A dull day in winter but a lovely few hours spent here. Being the only visitors we were lucky enough to have a free guide, from a volunteer who knew lots of interesting stuff and was able to make our visit so enjoyable. Stories about...More

Recently visited here for first time (we are islanders), tempted by a lunch/entry deal. Overall, pleasantly surprised, with beautiful location, fascinating roman villa, & tasty food in the welcoming cafe. Staff were pleasant enough, & our two young children gave it the thumbs up! Will...More

Really superb museum and fantastic exhibits. The staff are lovely. It's very child friendly. An education for all ages. Understandably a World Heritage Monument.

Very interesting if you like reading the display boards. Worth about an hour or so plus a nice cafe to visit after. Good for a rainy day but quite expensive for the time it takes.

Loved it as I am obsessed with the Roman conquest of Brittania and Vectis. Beautifully conserved with clear and simple explanations. This was supported with information boards placed strategically around. Should take about one to one and a half hours.

Seventeen ladies from Binstead W.I. had a fabulous guided tour of this interesting site, led by Sally. Very informative and interesting history, beautifully presented, followed by lovely food in the efficiently run cafe. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit...... For all ages. Would highly recommend.
