Magnificent memorial well worth visiting. A great tribute the the young Canadian soldiers who gave their lives during the great war.

This memorial is a lovely structure. Very moving in its tone and style. We made a very brief stop here purely to take a quick photo and admire the structure and I'm glad I did. Free parking right next to it

The land literally came from Canada to honour, with the stunning obelisk of the mourning soldier, the brave Canadians who filled the gap and held the line after a vicious mustard gas attack by the Germans who decimated the allied troops.

Heartbreaking that those men suffered and died in such a horrible way. But quick thinking by a Canadian soldier helped to save a lot of lives as well.
