Great fun - a lift takes you most of the way then there is a circular stair

Great views out in all directions with boards explaining the views. I found them difficult to... read more

Well worth a visit but do bear in mind the stone spiral staircase up can be quite claustrophobic. At the belfry we arrived just in time for the chimes and they provide ear defenders for a reason. After walking the remaining way to the top...More

Great views out in all directions with boards explaining the views. I found them difficult to follow. We stopped to hear the carillon at 3pm ..

I loved it! It is so beautiful, so imponent, the architecture is amazing and there are many places to sit and relax eating something!

Accessible via the museum, at an extra cost of two euros on top of the museum admission price but worth it for the views from the top. Plenty of steps to climb which will not suit some people.

Well worth the climb to the top , some 300 steps , once on top the effort is worth it , the top commands a view of all the surrounding countryside ,

Not for the feint hearted. There is 200 plus steps but it's worth it up top. Worth the two euros extra. Time it for a good clear day if you can and then you can see the various key battlefields.

We had access to the Belfry from the "In Flanders Fields Museum." We had to scan our ticket and it allowed us to visit the Belfry. Naturally we had to climb a lot of stairs, but it was worthwhile! The Belfry has its own carillon,...More
