The 115 metres high brick tower of the Church of Our Lady is a perfect illustration of the craftsmanship of Bruges' artisans. The church displays a valuable art collection: Michelangelo's world-famous Madonna and Child, countless paintings, 13th-century painted sepulchres and the tombs of Mary of Burgundy and Charles the Bold.

Fantastic cathedral but it is the only piece of art by Michelangelo to go outside Italy that make this a must visit over any other great cathedral. Museum pass covers entrance fee to this. Worth getting.

I understand this is the 'Church of our lady' that hosts the famous 'Modona with the child' sculpture of Michaelangelo. This place is something. Must visit for art & history lovers.

This church was beautiful and had so much detail in it! The Michelangelo statue is tucked back in an area that is gated so you cannot see it closely. The whole back of the church is under renovations which is unfortunate. You do have to...More

Even though works were going on, it is a wonderful serene place. Was not busy when i was there, but think it could be. Does say no camera, but loads of people did not resect that.
