We went for a morning run to Bruges Beguinage. Very quite at the morning and beautiful to visit with the upcoming sun. Recommend visiting

However you are downtown Bruges, as soon as you cross the little bridge leading to the Beguinage (Begijnhof) : little white houses grouped around a little park. Discover the history of these women is very interesting and not enough known

It was interesting to see how and where the sisters had lived. It’s only 2€ and full of information. It’s was a contrast to the markets and restaurants in Bruges.

This was by far my favorite spot in the city! Swans? Check! Adorable little bridge? Check? Movie like canals? Check! I came back here about 3 times and walked around the perimeter twice because I couldn’t get enough of it! Talk about a pretty picture!...More

A lovely tree-filled square surrounded by charming, very old white houses. It's a lovely spot to take a breather from the bustle of Bruges.

Just to be clear I wouldn't recommend this for a teenage family, my son came under duress but the place was beautiful - peaceful and a hidden gem in the middle of this exceptional city. If you want some peace take a slow walk around...More

We stumbled upon the Beguinage while waiting to do the brewery tour and it was something of a contrast. There are signs everywhere requesting silence and these and the enclosed nature of the area give the area a certain religious gravitas. if you want twenty...More
