Do take a boat trip. Our captain was wonderful, very informative, funny and fluent in English + other languages. Stunning trip with gorgeous buildings and scenery. Well worth it and would definitely do it again if in Brugge

We did not have time wait long to board our boat. It was full, but not too over crowded...just a busy tourist operation, as you would expect. The 'Captain' was pleasant and welcoming. He asked all who boarded where they were from and welcomed all...More

A wonderful view of Bruges architecture . The commentary is useful and informative. The cost of the ride is reasonable.

We were a group of 20in Bruges for a weekend city break. We hired a private boat for our group for a set price of €240. It was a little more expensive than joining a public tour but worth the extra to be by ourselves,...More

We enjoyed the boat ride in Bruges. The driver does a good job of sharing stories about different buildings along the way. The views are great!

We had heard only good things so we decided to try it out. For only €8 per person it was great value for money. Lasting about 30 minutes we got a great feel of the city and some beautiful views. Definitely worth it.

The canal boat tour is an interesting way to see areas of the city you may want to visit later on foot. Children will love the low bridges and waving to pedestrians. An added attraction at the moment is you get to see some of...More

Reasonably priced, reasonably short time, reasonably interesting, not a top 10 thing to do. Always interesting to see the city from the canal. Could be a good way to rest and see part of the city.

May depend on whether those people sitting next to you are okay with it as it’s pretty cozy seating when the boat is full.

I believe the one operator manages all the canal tours within Brugge. And they’re all 30 minutes long. I don’t know it’s name as we walked up and bought tickets on the day. Apologies. There are canal trips to nearby towns... More
