It's an imposing stateau close to Bavo's, The contribution of the van Eyck brothers to Ghent is clearly commendable but this site is well,,, whatever

While pretty, it is only worth a stop if you happen by it. I saw nothing special about it. It's right by St. Bavos cathedral.

This majestic monument to honour the van Eyck brothers is a very large bronze half circle shaped piece of artwork and just a five minute walk past the Belfort. Not to be missed!

One of the most astonishing statue I ever saw. In front of the best church of the city, this statue is at the same time very huge and beautiful, telling a very interesting history. So take your time to explore.
