The Graslei and Korenlei area of Ghent is a great place with many a bar and restaurant and walking distance from the main centre of the city. One sees a number of boats go past regularly but didn’t want to go on them being that...More

Make a lot of pictures from the Saint Michael bridge especially at dusk. This location is close to the major historical buildings.

What an amazing little walk along the water, lined with cute architecture and awesome little shops. Numerous little bridges make for excellent photo ops as well.

This is probably the most beautiful spot of the old town. The buildings on both side are simply stunning. Great place to take lost of pictures and go on a boat tour.

Take a slow walk along the river bank, or take a boat ride, simply amazing place to visit. Ancient and majestic buildings, clean walkway and friendly people, you will simply enjoy this place.

Beautiful spot in the old historic center of Gent. Lots of special old houses, sometimes too much repaired though

This is the best place to see while you are in a beautiful city in Ghent. You can have a boat trip to explore the city.

One of the best walks I ever had, although relatively short one ;-) This is the place you see on Gent postcards. Has some nice restaurants. Have had long chit chats over drinks over here. Coming here during a Gentse Feesten is a real pleasure.

You can get a train to Gent and it's a 40 mins walk form the train station or you can get a tram and it will take only 10mins.
