We were staying at hotel with parking too small for our car (Berlingo - too high). The station parking appears expensive BUT if you buy a train ticket you can get 50% off. We wanted to visit Bruges so parked the car (car park is...More

I love the architecture of Europe. Being an American. the oldest parts of the US cannot hold a candle to that of Europe. This station is completely lovely! I look forward to another trip soon!

The station itself is fine, but the access to the platforms is a little confusing due to some massive building works. Also some of the nearby public transport stops have been moved due to the building works.

Small 12 track station. To get to town take TRAM 1, but the tram station is far to the left, after the bus station. Tram is 3 euros, but you get cheaper rates with a multi day pass.

Took the trolley to the station and once we figured out where it actually was - had to ask a local - it was easy to figure out our platforms. We purchased tickets online from home so we had no trouble with anything. Trains were...More

A lot of connections by train, bus or 'tram' can be caught at this station. Trains to get to other cities. Busses and 'trams' can bring you to several places in and around the area of Ghent and Ghent centre.

Yes, you will be able to transfer in that time. The platforms are connected by a single subway and are very well signposted.

There are signs in the station directing passengers to the taxi rank. We found the cost to be reasonable. Tram is also a cheaper option.
