There are only a few rooms in this museum but the contents are beautiful. The intricate carving on some of the exhibits is amazing, so delicate. For me the highlight is the sculpture by the Maitre de Waha

We’re well accustomed to visiting museums all over the US and Europe. The busy-bodies here followed us around making sure we “ne touché pas.” Far below the kind of hospitality we are used to. The collection is okay. Small.

Small museum, but packed full of nice stuff, from paintings and sculptures to beautiful metalwork. I really enjoyed our visit. Totally worth the €3 fee.

€3 entrance is not much but just be aware that unless you have a specific interest or passion in household wares or religious ornaments from the 12th-18th century, you can basically see everything in this museum in about 20min! There isn't a huge variety on...More

Filled with goodies that never found their way into the Louvre. Namur is everything good about Paris without the rudeness and the poodle poo.

Passing through Namur, be sure to drop in at that Museum where you will find one of the most stunning collection of 12th C Mosan art (art from the region of the Meuse, the river that flows through Namur and goes on to Liege and...More

Perhaps now most well known for the fabulous 13th century silverware Trésor d'Oignies (see separate TripAdvisor entries), there is much else to see at this lovely provincial museum: from some amazing wood sculpture altar pieces (one in particular - I speak from an artistic, not...More
