Not a huge museum, therefore easy to visit. And instructive, of course. The variety of exhibits (history, art, prehistory…) makes the visit enjoyable and non-monotonous. Special conditions for teenagers, to encourage the culture of all ages.

This museum includes artifacts from various periods and it helps you form a good image of how life was in liege in these periods. Also, it is well organized and it has some amazing decoration.

Absolutely fabulous and extensive collections with a particular beautifull and important collection of woodden polychrome religious sculptors dating back to the Middle Ages, and all the details of the previous principaute de Liege, its political and social structure long before the first constitution. Impressive!
