We stayed nearby, so walked along this street many times. Some nice cafes,. restaurants & shops, the street makes for a nice stroll. Pretty architecture too with the terraces. I wouldn't make a special trip, but if in the area its worth a look.

Terrasses no nonsense foodbars together with a young atmosphere make this a trendy place to visit and enjoy your visit of Brussels. Don't forget to go into the shops and look around. Enjoy that is what this arena stands for!

In this area you'll find many trendy shopping and eating places. In fact you're just a few 100m from Grand Place but you're really moving from the old history into very trendy clothes shops, mostly located in well renovated older buildings. Just stroll around.

Said to be shopping street, generally I rather visit for good restaurants around. I recommend this as a walking route from the building of the Stock Exchange (Bourse) to Place Sainte-Catherine, a pleasant community area with plenty of seafood places.

One I was a student in Brussels, a good generation ago, this street was derelict and to be avoided if you were not living there. Then slowly the street was transformed by enterprising youngsters and small entrepeneurs. Designers, fashionistas, restaurant, pubs, book and literature places, ...they all played their part in making this street a place to be in Brussels.... More

Dansaert Street is advertised as a great shopping street with Christmas shops, etc. Well apparently this is not true. We stopped here to do some Christmas ornament shopping and found nothing. We stopped to have a bit to eat close by and the waitress said no they do not have any Christmas shops. Sometimes in the winter they will set... More

An interesting street with plenty of nice cafés, designer shops and terraces, not far from the canals.
