Printed information led us to believe that this was a great example of Art Deco. That may be but I've seem better examples. Part of the problem was that this was a private home that still had all the family artifacts displayed - thus distracting from the Art Deco elements. More attention in the printed guide that you use while... More

This is a little known museum. But if you love Art Déco, you should not miss it: the interiors, from lighting to tapestry to furniture, are just extraordinary. So thoughtful of the original owners to donate their place to convert it into a museum! The garden outside makes it even more of a pleasant visit in spring&summer.

We only visited the gardens. We were interested in visiting the maze but it is quite small and not so great as some opinions say. The rest of the garden of not interest at all. Not worthy.

A little out of Brussels centre, this house is totally complete in the original Art Deco style from the house & furniture to the gardens. The whole place can be visited and is in excellent condition

This is a hidden gem. I was reluctant to go cause I didnt know much about it and wanted to see a house rather than a museum. Also dont know much about Art Deco. However I am so glad I went and cant wait to go back. Its not really a museum its a house and gardens open to the... More

Recommended by a family member we visited this absolute hidden delight on a damp February afternoon. We were not diappointed. It was so intimate a venue and so beautifully decorated that it left both of us speechless. I doubt if it is possible to find a more definitive tribute to "art nouveau" anywhere. Every single element of this house is... More

Need to travel outwith centre - but well worth the trip. Easy to get to on tram / bus. Quite breath taking - and great to see the original pieces of furniture and art insitu. Lovely garden to walk around - in my view - do not miss!

The exterior appearance wouldn't make you think so, but inside you will find an Art Deco gem. You can visit the entire ground floor and the study and studio on the upper flower. Bedrooms are not accessible. There is quite a huge garden that can be visited as well. The information provided is quite good, in general though the house... More

It's quite difficult to find the place. I took a taxi. But once you visit the place, you discover who the upper class lived in the beginning of the 20 century. great art. Absolutely a must.
