This is a charming old building in the Grand Place, the heart of old Brussels and is worth an hour of anybody's time.

Interesting to trace the history of the city through old maps, paintings, models and pictures. Definitely worth a visit.

Situated in a stunning building (though in need of a good clean), this museum could be much more imaginative in the way that it displays its contents. It is rather old-fashioned and very surprisingly for the hordes of visitors it gets, several sections of displays...More

When I'm visiting a city for the first time, I usually find it helpful to check out those museums devoted to the city, for some perspective. Located on the Grand Place, the Museum of the City of Brussels may well be housed in the most...More

Tickets to this museum also got us into the Mannekin Pis costume museum. Both are well worth a look.
