This building has left a huge impression on me. The scale is incredible, I could walk around it for hours. It is an easy 10 min walk from the Grand Place and you can get an elevator up the hill. Totally worth it. It gave...More

This has to be one of the most unique buildings I've ever seen: neo-classical marble columns, sculptures and atriums, all covered in multi-coloured graffiti. If you approach it with an open mind, you will find one of the most beautiful, striking buildings in Brussels.

This is a massive building that in its day would have been mightily impressive. Sadly today it is tired and dirty and in need of some love and care. Hopefully the large amount of scaffolding currently erected is a sign that this could be happening....More

I read in a travel book that this was the largest building at the time it was completed in 1883. My wife and I walked 20 minutes from the Parc de Bruxelles to see this large building. Most of the building was dirty and surrounded...More

The attraction is located near the quarter of the Marolles. Parking on the street is nearly impossible in front. The building is huge and monumental. We were not inside but you can tell how it is inside from the outer part that could be visited.

This is quite a walk from the Grand Place and it's not actually worth it as at the moment it is under reconstruction so the golden dome is hardly visible. It was built between 1866 and 1883 by the architect Joseph Poelaert. It is the...More

It is not so close to the city center but it is worth the effort. It is a huge building where the Court's services are. During my visit it was under renovation of the front exterior of the building.Nice stop between Poelaert and Louise.

Full disclosure. I am a lawyer, so I really enjoyed my visit there. I went during regular business hours and got a peek of actual court proceedings, the judges, the lawyers, etc. I just loved it. The building is an impressive building as well. It...More

I'd not go out of my way merely to see this beautiful building, but it's worth dropping buy if in the vicinity. Interesting assemblies and demonstrations may be going on as you visit, as well.
