This little suburban shopping center has a bit of everything and also direct access to public transport (metro & tram). My favourite is the Japanese food store.

A great little town square with a regular market. Beautiful flowers, a good rotisserie chicken man, the Best Liege Waffles (from Jean Gaston) with nice shopping all around it. It isn't totally up-market like the ave Louise, but everything you need is available, from chocolates to a - ok there isn't a hardware store but there is a bicycle repair... More

Stockel Square, or Place Dumon, is a great place to be any day of the week with all of it's great restaurants, bakeries, delis, boutiques and markets. I am so thankful to be living in this neighborhood and if I didn't have a car or ever want to drive further afield, just about all my needs would be met by... More

Even though I don't live near the area I find myself often going to the area because what I need can be found there. Parking is a challenge but once I have finished with what has to be done I always find a nice place to relax and depending on the time of day have a nice lunch or just... More

Full of small shops, gourmet food estanblishments, boasting one of Europe's fines open markets for outstanding fresh good, flowers, and garden plants, it's also in a neighborhood replete with handsome houses, large gardens, and attractive residential streets.

The square is filled with great shops, bakeries, butchers, the market stands and lots of great weekend festivals. I've never lived in a small European community with a better central square area--there is something for everyone, and you can get almost anything you need at the Square (or get the tram/train to go somewhere else!!)

A nice little collection of shops and Stokkel itself is a good area. There are quite a few places to eat around here and it has good parking and is linked to the metro. Go there on a Saturday morning, where the market happens. Great choice.

Great market to visit. Have everything you can think of such as ribs, thai food, and one of the best freshly hot made waffles in Belgium. Great bargain on everything especially the fresh produce and fruits.
