Absolutely stunning, both daytime and night time. We went to the City Museum - the first two floors are a little boring, but on the top floor, there's a collection of Mannekin Pis's outfits and a video which is very entertaining.

The façades are beautiful and parta of them gilded, exhibiting really nice golden touches without overdoing it. It is a great place to visit. A must in Brussels. Better visit on a weekday, because it's swarming with tourists and locals on the weekend.

This is an amazing square both at night and during the day, surrounded by magnificent buildings. Fantastic place to admire the beauty of this city and also the cosmopolitan culture.Worth visiting both night and day as at night when lit up gives a completely different view, you need to look up and admire the fantastic architecture as well as watch... Love the old buildings surrounding the plaza, as well as the eateries dotting the sides of the square. The buildings on one side of the plaza are being restored/renovated when we visited, so it was unfortunate, but we still enjoyed watching the throngs of people coming and going the area, taking snapshots of everything. the Grand Place is a crowded,... In many ways the tourist hub of Brussels. Close to Central Station a beautiufl setting where tourists just walk around using their selfies to photograph. Very safe it would appear though you always have to be careful in crowded areas. No seating space so people use the sides and the cafes are pretty crowded around. But the atmosphere is great... Historic Buildings all around, so much to take in. Plenty of places to eat and drink around the area, with the Mannequin Pis a very short walk away

The Grand Place is simply wonderful. OK, so it is touristy, and a bit pricey, and crowded, but the architecture is amazing, the choice of pubs is great, and there is always something going on here. I love the way the French call the marketplace one thing and the Dutch another. French: Maison du Roi, Dutch: Broodhuis. The city as... More

It is walking distance from the Central station. We visited on New Year and it was filled with festive people. Loved the atmosphere. Visit when its dark for the amazing light show.
