Living in Brussels, I never got tired of passing through Grand Place - day or night it always full of energy (and people, so avoid if you're homophobic :)). There is a lot of souvenir shops around and cafés that are overpriced, but being at...More

A stunning square surrounded by quite beautiful buildings with amazing architecture, the detail is quite amazing. By day or night the square really is enchanting. There are cafes in the square and the small lanes lead off into some bespoke shops hidden amongst the normal...More

The Grand Place was so beautiful in the day. It so happened the day I was there at night, they were celebrating gay pride! They lit up the buildings and it was a sight to behold

Impressive during the day, for us it was even better in the evening when the buildings are lit up. Try the bistros and bars just a few steps away from the Grand Place - it's worth making the effort.

It's such a great place with a good vibe around it. There are a lot of shops and its a perfect way to navigate around the Brussels as it is the centre of town.

Beautiful buildings surrounding the square. Can't complain about the awesome architecture and noticing interesting signs and creatures on the buildings. There's an odd one with babies suckling a wolf(?)

The Grand Place in Brussels is just breathtaking! Plan to spend some time people-watching at one of the many outdoor cafes and pick up some memorabilia at one of the many gift shops nearby. The square is even more beautiful when lit up at night!

Too touristy for my liking. But plenty of places to drink Belgian beer. Also you have to watch out for beggars with babies and dogs.

Ibis Brussels in Grand Palace is a 3 star hotel. It's not that expensive and people seem to like it.
