About
The Beer Museum of the "Belgian Brewers" The rich tradition of Belgian beer is kept alive at the Brewery Museum. Visitors are shown implements, brewing and fermentation tubs, a boiling kettle and the material found in an eighteenth-century brewery. In the cosy cafe, memories of days gone by are brought back to life. Old tankards, antique porcelain and the paraphernalia from an inn of the past illustrate what doubtless deserves to be called "Belgian Beer Culture". Over the years, the Belgian brewers have kept pace with technology, centuries of brewing experience, investing in the necessary know-how and better techniques, as well as respect for both beer and nature are the pillars of the Belgian brewing industry. Tradition with an eye to the future: Visitors to the Brewery Museum will see that this is indeed the case inside this hub of the latest brewing technology. The Belgian brewers will gladly offer you a glass of delicious beer in the cafe of the Brewery Museum.

Not a huge museum but interesting non the less. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Free sample at the end was certainly worth the visit!

Not worth it

Just a pub with a small exhibition ;( At the end they give you a small sampler of their beer. We were both extremely disappointed.

Worth the Money

Don’t expect much. Five euro price is great for what you get ... a decent beer and a place to piss. Not a museum but more so a place to sit and relax.

Not really a museum

The "film" is a bit of a joke - just pictures of beer to music 😂

The beer was nice though and it's not bad for 5 euros.

Nice place for a beer

Not much of a museum but nice bar to have a beer in. Beer was good and the atmosphere in the bar was very relaxed and more traditional.

A nice place for a beer in the grand place

It's hard to call it a museum, there is a room with old and new machines of producing beer, odd movie about beer and in side cabin a video of the production of beer.
After that you enjoy a really good beer (200 ml) the worker here was a nice old man. Why 4? The only place we were we received glass of water for free (for my wife) and there is a toilet.
Prime location positive experience

Meh

Nice beer but definitely should not be called a ‘museum’. It is one room with a weird screen in it and some beer related artifacts. Don’t waste your money!

LOL! It’s a 5€ Beer
Oct. 2019 • Couples
It’s not a museum, it’s a room.

Just like all the other reviews say, it’s a room with a tv screen and some redundant beer making equipment and a chart on the wall.

You pay 5€ and get a beer and a book!

Ironically, the bar area is quite nice. Personally the owners should just re-market it as a bar/pub and turn the ‘museum’ room into another drinking area and they’d actually make more money.

Maybe it has to be a ‘museum’ to be allowed to sell beer??

The beer is a choice of a blonde beer or a white beer... it was a nice beer to be fair, but was it worth 5€? I think not.

It’s so embarrassing that it’s painfully funny 😂

If you want a small beer for 5€ in a room of awkward people trying to enjoy their over priced beer - then this is THE perfect place for you!

I’m still laughing at this experience.

This place really isnt a museum. It is 2 rooms with a few tables and brewing equipment.
The equipment is that seen in any brewery
The 'free' beer is not really free but was very tasty

Not a Museum

It’s disappointing that places like this exist. That they can call it a museum is ridiculous. There is no museum. They play a slideshow of pictures and videos with no information. You’re buying a 5€ beer. That’s it.
