Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had wonderful time in Brussels even the weather was not perfect and we spent 1,5 day there only. Very much enjoyed the trip to mini Europe. 2 things I would recommend: take the train from the airport if a hotel is near the train station and find a restaurant further away from the center. I bought some chocolates in the city center but the same one can buy in the airport and even a little cheaper.

Like Manneken Pis, Jeanneke Pis is also a classic and a must see while in Brussels. The statue is located in an alley way, so be sure not to miss her. Make sure to go early around 9-10am if you want photos without anyone around.

Jeanneke Pis is a playful take on Mannaken Pis and is located just off Rue des Bouchers. This is the work of Denis-Adrien Debouvrie (1985) and is of a little girl squatting and urinating in a small pool, making her a symbolic sister of her famous brother in Brussels.
The Jeanneke Pis statue is situated within a small niche in the outer wall of a small alleyway off Rue des Bouchers. It also has a behind a locked iron gate so it is more difficult to photograph if interested.
Note: There is another related statue called Het Zinneke (pissing dog) located along Rue des Chartreux for those interested.

After seeing the Mannekin Pis, we searched for the "girl version" and this was relatively easier to find.
When we arrived here, yet again more the same question...
"What's with seeing little statues (children) take a piss?"
Must be a cultural thing, but just for the heck of it, look for them, take a pic, and find tasty waffles after ;)

This is the lesser known statue of the Brussels urination obsessed ‘pis trilogy’ (boy, girl, dog).
The bar opposite is good - it’s open until 3am and you can stand in the alley near the fountain and have a drink. With all that beer and auditory trickling, you’ll be needing a pee of your own before long though.

I guess the song was right - "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better"
Jeanneke Pis is a statue in the center of Brussels of a girl who is peeing. The inspiration comes from the world-famous Manneken Pis statue nearby.
Nothing really special, just another touristy attraction.

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Brussels. It is truly a beautiful city with lots of great food, museums, and statues, especially if you like peeing statues. After seeing Mannekan Pis, it is a must to also visit the female equivalent and see Jeanneke Pis (Dutch for 'Little Pissing Joan) This is a newer and more modern fountain sculpture in central Brussels. It was commissioned by Denis-Adrien Debouvrie in 1985 and erected in 1987 as a counterpoint to the city's famous Manneken Pis. The 50-centimetre (20 in) bronze statue depicts a little girl with short pigtails, squatting and urinating on a blue-grey limestone base. And now you know. We heard there is a grandfather pis too.

Jeanneke Pis, sister of Manneken Pis, is much less known than her illustrious brother. Located in a small alley, next to Delirium Village, it is protected by a gate. According to tradition, it protects people who throw a coin into the tank.
In short, nothing fascinating. Fans will not miss the third copy of the Pis family, the dog (Zinneke Pis).

After the classic passage from the Mannekin Pis, it is worth taking a few steps further into the center to see the female version. Very nice and also larger in size, it is also located in a very lively and youthful area. Nothing shocking but very nice..Then off to the third statuette: the dog ke Pis :-)

A fly-by is recommended while in Brussels. You'll snap a quick photo and then probably be on your way. While not quite as popular as her brother (?), her location in the end of an alley can make even smaller crowds feel much larger.
Like her brother, they do dress up Jeanneke on occasions. However, I was unable to find any schedule or calendar on-line. If you are really keen on that, I'd recommend planning multiple fly-bys.
