The museum has three floors. In every floor was a different exhibition. Nice shop. We spent one hour.

always at least one good show. good art house movies too. Front of house staff rather hostile and uneducated, but that should not stop you.

We visited on a whim, at the time of the Saul Leiter expo and the Rik & Herman Selleslags expo. Both were constructed pretty well in our opinion: there was a clear narrative in both expositions, and the evolution of the artists' works was very well documented. This way the expo is easy accessible for all. The expositions had some... More

The FOMU was a very cool experience and a great option to go to as an individual or with friends. During my visit not all of the exhibits were open due to the transitioning to a new exhibit, so that was a bit disappointing, but what was available to see was very interesting, nicely presented, and clearly described. You also... More

Photo exhibitions are just not appealing to me. I've seen them in Tate, London, in FOAM Amsterdam, in house Marseille in Amsterdam, and now also in Antwerp. I have yet to enter one that I find appealing. Still, congratulations to the photographer who managed to get a shoot with both McCartney and Mick Jagger.

I didn't thoroughly enjoy visting this museum, because I am not really interested in this kind of art. However if you are interested in modern (photography) art, then I think you will like this place. The view from the 'rooftop' bar however is lovely and worth a visit aswell.

The FOMU building is inspiring and worth the visit just to see the view from the top. The exhibitions are more educational and historic in nature. I was hoping to see more are on our tour. If you enjoy natural history/cultural museums, this would be a great experience. We were kind of tired by the 3rd flood.

The history of photography is wonderful. And as this museum have done it is worth going to see. My wife who is not into photography enjoyed it as well.
