Get the tram here or walk. A large and wide shopping street. Some interesting local shops as well as the brands.

This is the street you want to be if you are a shopaholic. You will find all the big retail stores and some brand stores. If you have a larger pocketbook you can visit the stores in the Huidevettersstraat.

...it is mediocre. A mess. People, cyclists, whoever. Lots of shops but nothing outstanding. Belgian wafles, McDo, Robens' house nearby. The good thing is that Meir leads to the central station, so may you just go elsewhere, there are many nicer places in one hour reach

main shopping street of Antwerp with all the International low and medium range Brands represented, usually very busy, so walking isn't even a joy anymore ... to be avoided, unless you need something badly

If you like shopping: that's the place to be in Antwerp. All brands are represented here. Also very interesting place if you are an architecture buff. Special attention for the many mansions nowadays used by banks and other offices. There is also a real royal palace. One can even find (if you can read and understand Latin) the house where... More

A beautiful street, enough place to stroll and watch all stores (H&M, Zara, Esprit, C&A, ...) and much more. But a little 'too global and too popular' and nothing special, particular . If you are looking for more original and special I would recommend Kammenstraat (more modern) and other streets near the Fashion Museum and also Schuttershofstraat, just behind the... More

We really love to shop on the Meir it is in the town centre and pedestrianised. All the shops you need are here. There are also nice cafes and a good department store: Innovation. So it is convenient and pleasurable.

You can shop for almost everything in this street and it has a certain buzz to it that you just can not describe. A variety of stores and stretches for almost 3km.

The most famous shoppingstreet of Antwerp without a doubt but there is alot more to see than just shops. It can be crowdy especially in the weekends but its not really bothering people because its pretty wide. Nowadays theres alot of security too so its pretty safe to walk there. Also try to see the beautiful buildings that are in... More
