We decided to visit Rubens House at the end of the day in Antwerp. We arrived with about 40 minutes before closing noting that last admissions were at 430pm. No sooner had we ventured inside the museum, that we were literally ushered through the rooms....More

Ruben's house is similar in architecture to the building that houses the printing museum, Plantin-Moretus. and it is well worth a visit to see the house alone. But it also houses Ruben's workshop and many of his paintings, as well as art works he collected....More

Visited during the museum night, so maybe the museum was more limited than usually. Tip, take a paper with you where they explain all the art work, rooms, etc. No one told this to us before hand and the flyers were not available throughout the...More

Went there on the last Wednesday of the month, free entry. The place is amazing and needs an hour to visit. They even provide a booklet to understand what you're looking at.

:Located in the heart of the shopping district, Rubens House was a very nice and interesting break. Some very nice works of art displayed, and the tour of the 16th century house is very good. Gardens are beautiful.
