Impressive building

Very impressive and majestic building. Well situated but also shielded off for general public. Didn't visit insides, but still looked great on outside.

This was a great/informative tour!! The 30-minute audio tour of the visitor center was totally worth it, though I wish I would have booked a tour of the palace in advance. That being said, I highly recommend you add this to your list of must-sees while touring through The Hague,

I visited the Vredes Paleis last year very briefly and was so glad that I made this stop! The feeling of locating my own native country around the Peace Flame was so exciting! Seeing all the other countries involved in world peace just reminded me that all is not lost! As a world nation, it is apparent that we all... More

My friend and I went here in hope of taking a tour around and learning all there was on offer. Sadly you had to book in advance and there were no tours available for us. This was a huge disappointment to us both but the building was just beautiful and there is a really cute statue outside the gates of... More

Tour of a very historic palace with building materials from all over the world. Our tour guide spoke great English & gave a nice overview of the building, where the idea for the peace palace originated, how the idea developed, and how Andrew Carneige funded most of it. The tour is not always available so we were happy to get... More

Beautiful building with history and significance. Even if you only stop for a photo it is worth the time.

Nice building. Good muti-media services. Can easy to catch the most professional information about international court and cases.

I went there with a group of colleagues for whom a tour had been arranged. We were shown the courtroom, as well as a number of chambers where the judges meet before entering the actual courtroom. Very informative tour. We didn't visit the gardens as it was winter, and I thought I'd rather see it in the spring.

First of all, you are not allowed to visit inside the Peace Palace as people are actually working there. Somo time of the year they open the Palace for visit, but you have to check at the website calendar first. There you will be able to visit the museum but be careful because it closes at 16h and on google... More
