If you find yourself in the Hague then carve out some time for this treat. I have been twice and enjoy looking their interpretation of Dutch life in miniature. Kids will love this, but adults will enjoy it as well.

The Hague's model village is very well presented. Facilities are good and an ideal place for taking the family. Our young toddler daughter really enjoyed running around the place but we had to stop her at times going over the line and touching the model pieces. We ordered tickets online - there is a link from the attraction website to... More

We live around 10 km away from this pretty little town, or rather country. It's not cheap but it is pretty cool for young and old. It's very touristy but then it is a way to see the whole of Holland in 2 hours, all be it "small holland":-) Quality of the park is great, not just static buildings but... More

Visited the place, by luck. Just rented a car and used the POI on the SAT-NAV. Totally impressed, like we travelled the country in a couple of hours!

This is a miniature village that has grown up since I last visited! I believe I was 4 or 5 years old. I hesitate to call Harm my step-father because the moniker has bad connotations, however: Harm did do some amazing planning and executing of family vacations...this wonderful place (we visited many many times) was just one of those trips.... I visited this place on the Easter sunday, lucky me they opened til 20:00. Since the park is not big, an hour is enough to wander the whole area and take some pictures. Here you can feel how is it to be a giant among all those miniatures. From The Hague central station you can take tram and it's only... More

This park features "miniature" duplicates of various buildings and attractions in Holland. It was under construction when we went, upgrading a couple of displays and building a couple more. It was a little pricy I think but I can't remember what admission fees were. We ate lunch here and the food was fine. It was interesting but I wasn't wowed... More

Good place to visit to have a overview of the beauty of Holland. Nice place for the kids but found it over-priced.

Easily accessible by train from Amsterdam, Madurodam is a nice day out. The level of detail in the miniature buildings is incredible. The park is small enough to not be overwhelming but big enough to spend half a day there. Some of the water installations were dry in early April which was a shame. On entry they give you a... More

I had been here about 15 years ago and I went back again this time with my toddler. I think it is definitely worth a visit to see the little version of Netherlands but I don't think it has been maintained well. Some of the interactive games were not working and there was no one there to help. Overall its... More
