Mini world is scaled down version of Rotterdam mixing the past and present. Our 7 year old grandson loved it and so did we. We wanted to stay longer but the bus was coming to pick us up for the return ferry to Hull. We will go back again.

That was a fun filled afternoon at Miniworld in Rotterdam. There is lots to see and for the kids there's stuff to explore too. The restaurant might need some rethinking in terms of lay out, but that's not what we were there for. All in all a fun afternoon at a very reasonable price. Check the group prices, it will... More

I'm not sure how interesting it is for tourists but as someone who knows rotterdam fairly well it was really cool to see this bizarre fantasy version in miniature. We went on some sort of deal so it was 10euro each or something, not too expensive. I imagine as a rainy day activity it might work well, it's very close... More

A must visit in Rotterdam for the whole family. You can spend as much time as you wish viewing buildings, waterways. Trains and planes amongst gardens of flowers & trees. Excellent activities to enjoy for young & old. Children's playground facilities very good as is the food being a taste of Holland. A must see to believe what a wonderful... More

Situated around the corner from the Central Station, this is an interesting way to spend a few hours, especially if you've got young children as they'd really enjoy it. Walk through the small shop into a fair sized room filled with an expanse of model railway and townscapes based on different parts of Rotterdam and the Dutch countryside. The detail... More

A little hidden away but very cool and educational. Hand made dioramas made by mainly volunteers. Kids love it but having had a trainset in my youth I was very amazed by the quality and details.

This place has incredibly detailed miniatures of lots of things in Rotterdam as well as the Netherlands in general.

I went here to look around and see rotterdam in miniature. The modles and the overall setting is great sadly the layout doesnt match up with the real rotterdam which is a bit of a shame. I did like the change from day to night though. Probably a better trip for those who are familiar with Rotterdam or lived here.

Great way to visit Rotterdam and see how everything works. Every minute is like an hour and you can experience the whole day including sunrise and sunset. You can see how the city wakes up and falls asleep, see people working and resting, animals eating, trains going from station to station, the harbor, Ahoy's concert going on. Every part of... More
