It's a bridge. It's fine. It does what a bridge is supposed to do. It's not worth going to see as an attraction in itself but it is worth using if you want to get from one side if the water to the other.

Another beautiful piece of architecture in Rotterdam. The bridge looks fascinating during day time and is beautifully lit at night. We took the tram as it was quite a cold day and enjoyed the bridge from the comfort of the tram. As much as the bridge, the setting is very beautiful.

Beautifull architectional piece, very nicely lit. We didn't go on the bridge though, took a walk around the channel towards the Oude Willems Brug. Very nice!

This bridge is my view from the office. You have to pass this bridge not only in the daytime but definitely in the nighttime. Where you feel like you're walking on millions of sparkling stars as soon as the lights on the bridge hits the floor. The view from the bridge is as beautiful. I still walk over this bridge... More

At the risk of stating the obvious, the best part of this bridge is that it crosses the water where it does! It's a lovely structure that is best appreciated just by walking across it, as all the lines of the cables and uprights change as you walk along. Beautifully lit up at night with wonderful geometric shapes. The fact... More

This enormous bridge is an architectural masterpiece and crosses a very busy waterway. It is well worthwhile to walk towards the bridge to view it and then cross the bridge to view the water activities.

It's a very impressive building. The view on the river with all the boats is stunning. We loved to see it!

Great firework display during New Year's Eve but it was cooooolddd and busy! Expected though. I would advice to probably stay at Inntel hotel opposite the bridge and watch it from your own room 😉.. make sure to book the bridge view room way in advance if you want to be there for the fireworks show.

Make sure you take the time to walk across the bridge, the views from either side are breathtaking. I would recommend crossing it from both sides, a different side each time you cross.

If you are lucky enough to be fully mobile, I really recommend walking over the bridge. For me walking from south to north on the lefthand side is best, but each to their own. This is fantastic bridge whatever the weather, you just have to look up into the structure as you move through it. Rotterdammers love this bridge and... More
