To one side of this building, high up the wall, there is a little automated puppet show that plays two minutes after the hour and half hour. It lasts for a couple of minutes. Fun to see.

The admission is only 2.50 euros per person and it is paid just inside the entrance to the right. We were given a piece of paper with some points of interest, but it was a little hard to follow. It would be better if there...More

This city hall is to me the most beautiful of the whole Netherlands...Located right in the middle of a huge square, with a detailed architecture, red panes giving a new fresh impression...

Situated on a pretty square surrounded by shops and restaurants, the City Hall is one of the nicer ones we saw on this trip. We visited on a weekday morning when the Gouda Cheese Auction/Sale was not taking place.

The interior of this interesting, old City Hall has been completely remodeled. Probably great for meetings but not for touring.

Can tourists visit the Stadhuis? If so, when and how much is the entrance fee?

Yes, the Stadhuis is open to tourists Monday to Friday from 9:00 - 17:30. I do not remember the entrance fee but it was low, a few Euro at the most.
