The Markt Delft is one of the more beautiful squares in Europe. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants here. The architecture is amazing, particularly that of the new church and town hall.

It's about 10 minutes' walk from the train station - after you cross the main road you are quickly into the centre of Delft which is very beautiful and relatively traffic-free.
