We stopped off here and watched the world go by. Many places to choose from for dining or a drink. So glad we came to Delft to visit, great place to wander around, so pretty and only 12mins on the train from Rotterdam.

What a wonderful square to roam around while in Delft. Shops/stalls, restaurants all around this area including nice souvenir shops. A good bet if in Delft! (This is also the painter Vermeer's birthplace - Delft.

You can't avoid visiting the square, and let's realise it, you don't want to do so. It has everything Dutch you can imagine. You can drink a coffee there and realise how small you are in comparison to the Stadhuis and Nieuwe Kerk.

It's about 10 minutes' walk from the train station - after you cross the main road you are quickly into the centre of Delft which is very beautiful and relatively traffic-free.
