Apart from temporary exhibitions, this is a good place to learn about delftware and the royal family through art. Local history through art is another theme. A few interactive activities too. All in a peaceful museum, with a tranquil garden and terrace. It is in...More

It was a good experience learning about the origins of Delft and the Netherlands royal family. There was also a exposition about art nouveau. The building and garden is also nice to visit.

Came here as spending a few days in Delft. Famous for being the place where William of Orange assassinated . V good explanations in English and Dutch throughout. The clever use of shadows from projectors enables you to ‘witness’ the assassination on site and film...More

A museum with paintings from the city as well as important persons in the history of Delft. You will also find models of the city. If you are interested in history, this is a must see in Delft.

Not more than nice. Interesting history. Too expensive for what you get... good for a bad weather day. But if the weather is good, it's a waste of time.

Housed in a former palace, this museum gives the contributions of Delft to the History of the Netherlands. From William the Silent to William of Orange, Dutch East India Company, Delft porcelain, Art Nouveau - Delft was a pioneer.
