Under construction, but still beautiful

Spectacular church. It is under construction, but is still beautiful. Friendly staff and nice small gift store. Entrance fee includes the Old Church.

If one wants to follow the life of William of Orange, the father of his country, here is his mausoleum together with an exhibit of Dutch history. However, the church is being throroughly renovated and the extent and noise of construction are unbearable. Apart from its architecture, this church is of little artistic interest

I really wanted to go inside this beautiful and historic church but found it closed when we stopped. Bummer. The market in front was great. Lively and clean. Great fish and meat sellers Love Delft!!

Really nice building, the floor is a collection of tombs, wonderful to see the inscriptions. It seems that the fixings is taking too long...

700+ year old church. If you like churches then visit :-) I have been inside more than 10 times to show the people that I was touring around. Every country and every city boasts their own church as the best. This church does have alot of history, the deceased Royal Family members get buried here. When you buy a ticket... More

The Nieuwe Kerk dominates the centre of Delft and holds an important place in the history of the Netherlands as the final resting place of the Royal family in a private crypt. Unfortunately, however, it is currently undergoing major renovation so there is only limited access inside. The tower is also closed. It was still a pleasant way to pass... More

One of the most beautiful Kerk and a must see in this beautiful town. Amazing location and nearby cafes and restaurants for a nice meal and drinks in the evening with friends and families makes it perfect day out.

Visit the church tower to get stunning views of Delft and the surroundings. It's worth the effort to climb the stairs.

If you're in Delft, this church is a must see. Just be ready with your cardio because you need to climb the narrow wooden staircase to the top of the tower. For a minimal fee, the aerial view of Delft is more than you pay for. From the tower, you can take your endless selfies. Just be careful not to... More

Sorry to say this was very disappointing. Major renovation work is going on and is very intrusive. Also it was very cold inside which did not help. The number of interest point was limited so I would skip until work is completed. However we also received a complementary coffee voucher for the inconvenience.

Thank Ian M
