A nice variety of street shops that you can walk though. They are main'y food and flower shops. In the heart of the shopping district.

Stopped off in Utrecht on a Wednesday on the way from Amsterdam to Rotterdam. Glad we did. The canals area has an incredible amount of shopping options, but we enjoyed our time in the Vredenburg Market. It's right as you walk out of the mall...More

If you travel to Utrecht by train, it's virtually impossible to miss this market. For this reason, I would say there is absolutely no reason not to visit the market when visiting Utrecht, because you can just walk along the stalls for a couple of...More

I saw this market during my walk around the historic areas of Utrecht. Fish, meats, cheese, vegetables, fruits, fresh flowers, plants, etc are being sold here. One of the vendors told me that they are open 3 times a week, on Wednesdays. Fridays,,and Saturdays.

Don't go out of your way to visit the Vredenburg market. It offers nothing special. Market stalls with products you can find in any old market in the Netherlands and no special ambiance.

That's so nice, a market just outside the Central Station. There are stalls with clothing, food and flowers. Very convenient because we wanted to get a friend some fresh flowers.

This is a great market close to the shopping side of Utrecht Centraal. It's usually bustling and filled with tons of people and stalls, so if you're in the area, absolutely pass by. :)

We went for a shopping day in Utrecht and just outside Central Station was this market. Nice, with flowers, cheese and food stalls. Before we went home we got some cheese by local producers.

Unfortunately not, there are no stands on this outdoor market square on monday. It's there on wednesday and friday from 10 am to 5 pm, and saturday 8 am until 5 pm. Hope you'll enjoy Utrecht nonetheless!
