This 13th century medieval church which is located in the center of Amersfoort has an interesting architecture. A little shame that you have to pay 1€ to enter a church!!

Don't miss the clock chime when the dragon gets slain by St Joris. Church build around the tower on site of earlier church. Lively and bright. You can climb the step stairs up the tower. Entrance for donation. Medical display on first floor of tower....More

It is a Big church on the town Square. The space is huge but it looks like empty in the church. The organ is a beauty. It is not a "must" but just take a look when you're in the neighbourhood.

Not always open to the public, so if you do find the doors open, go in, you will not be disappointed. If you are lucky, the large organ will be playing, too!

This church is not very decorative. It has market quarters built against it. The triple roof structure is kind of interesting though.

The church itself is worth a short visit but it's mainly the square with the market and the cafes where you can hang out on a sunny afternoon drinking a beer or two.

Not as grand as the cathedrals of the bigger towns in Holland, nonetheless, this church is well worth a visit (only€1 entry). The white-washed walls and mural fragments are lovely. Search for the gorgeous clock, and do make the effort to climb the circular stone...More
