We rented a boat for 2 hours, but we were held back by traffic for more than 45 minutes . The owner did not return part of our deposit claiming we were responsible for returning the boat late

An unique and calming experience in Giethoorn. Try to be there before 10am to avoid big crowd of tourists. It's worthy to spend whole day there, especially when the weather is good!

Do not waste time and money on a 2-3 hour trip on a boat. a 1 hour trip is fine, or maybe 2x1 hour trips. Fact is, the nature reserve part is a waste. Once you have seen a reed, the others will pale in...More

A day Trip to  Giethoorn, 130 kms from Schipol , is highly recommended. It is an idyllic village with thatched houses on either side of the canals, that stay connected by  around 170 small wooden bridges. Apparently  the  population is only  2,620.  Giethoorn is often...More

I’m sorry there doesn’t seem to be a contact phone number. There are quite a lot of these operators by the canal side. It gets VERY busy.
