Its a museum which is not too large so you could finish viewing the whole of it in about two hours. Loved all the details about different varities of birds & their nests etc.

Even at the tourist info near the central station, where I asked for the right way, they didn't warn me that this museum was closed !! So I was in Enschede for nothing...

Though it took time to understand the explanations that are given by screens it is all well documented, great experience for adults and children. Worth to spend several hours.

A visit is a must !! It tells you the story of a giant and prosperous industry which began with the flax plantation. It also has a exhibition of ice age and other natural artifacts.
