We hopped on the train one evening after a day sightseeing and had a great hour on the beach messing about and watching the dozens of kite surfers. A real tonic after the streets of Amsterdam - and hardly any bicycles!

We stayed here for 7 days before boarding a cruise in Rotterdam Much cheaper than Amsterdam easy to access by train. Very good option for travellers.

Nice beach, whether it's Winter or Summer. If you have time, take a stroll along the beach or do some exercise! The parking is paid until 7 or 8 pm =/

Just a quick train trip from central amsterdam is a beautiful beach with white sand and lotsa happy sunbathers. There are lovely beach clubs to sit at, or food trucks that travel up and down the beach.

A typical seaside resort along the lines of Hastings minus a pier. Beach is fantastic but watch that North Sea wind
